Saddle Fitting

Harmony Riding offers professional saddle fitting services in both the Salt Lake and St. George, Utah areas.

Shellie Rock is an Equine Ergonomist through the program Saddle Fit 4 Life (SF4L). For a limited time, we are offering FREE fittings while Shellie completes her Certified Equine Ergonomist externship.

We use SF4L's 80 point fit system. This assesses both static and dynamic fit for both the horse and rider. We are independent and not affiliated with a certain brand.

  • Full mapping of the horse's back and common trigger point areas
  • Provide you with wither and shoulder measurements and tracings

  • Recommend how to find a new/used saddle for your horse (in the event your saddle doesn't fit)
  • Educate on principles on saddle fitting
  • Refer you to industry professionals who can repair and/or adjust your current saddle (assuming it's adjustable)
  • Assist in ordering and purchasing saddles of the Schleese brand (NOT required for fittings)
  • Provide referrals to vets, farriers, body workers, and trainers if applicable.
